Creamy Chicken and Zucchini Gratin
This recipe uses “REGULAR SOY SAUCE” to add a subtle flavor to white cream sauce. Soy sauce brings out “umami" in European-style dishes, as in this gratin.
PREPARATION
- Chop chicken into bite-size, and rub "REGULAR SOY SAUCE" and pepper into the chicken. Slice onion thin and chop zucchini into easy-to-eat chunks.
- Pour olive oil in a frying pan, and stir-fry the chicken until cooked. Add the onion and zucchini, and stir-fry until the onion softens.
- Add flour and stir-fry until powdery texture diminishes. Pour milk and "REGULAR SOY SAUCE" in the pan, and simmer until thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place STEP3 in a heat-resistance dish. Cover with shredded cheese, and bake for 15 minutes in the oven at 200°C.
