Banana and Soy Sauce Pound Cake
The aroma of soy sauce matches well with sweetness of banana. This subtle combination of saltiness and sweetness goes well with coffee, black tea, and green tea. You can add chopped nuts such as walnuts in the batter to add crunchiness.
PREPARATION
- Cut 1/2 of a banana into rounds for topping, and mash the rest using a fork. Preheat an oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, combine egg, sugar, vegetable oil, and "REGULAR SOY SAUCE" in order. Whisk every time you add an ingredient. Put pancake mix in the bowl, and fold in, using a rubber spatula.
- Add mashed bananas to STEP2 and mix. Pour the batter into a baking pan, top with round-cut banana slices, and bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
