Crispy Fried Chicken
Seasoned with soy sauce, this crispy and juicy chicken will be a perfect dish for Christmas banquette.
PREPARATION
- Using a kitchen knife, make 2 deep cuts on Chicken Drumsticks along the bones.
- Put STEP1 in a bowl. Using hands, rub the ingredients in A into the chicken in order, one ingredient at a time. Leave the chicken for more than 15 minutes.
- Combine starch and flour. Using hands, rub 2/3 of this mixture into the chicken prepared in STEP2 until thickened. Lightly coat the chicken with remaining 1/3 of the mixture.
- Heat deep-fry oil to 170°C. Put a half of STEP3 in the oil, and deep-fry for 3 minutes without moving them. Once the surface slightly browns, flip them over as needed, and continue frying for 3-4 minutes. Repeat the same procedure for the other half, watching over the temperature change.
